Abstract:
This chapter analyses the temporal evolution of regional inequalities in Greece. More specifically, it carried out an empirical analysis of the process of (economic) convergence or divergence among the Greek regions in the period 1981-2015. The analysis is conducted at both NUTS 2 and 2 levels and uses exclusively the most commonly used economic indicator, namely GDP per capita.
